Discover How The Netting Industry Is Changing Shape – Literally
You might think the netting industry doesn’t change much.
But the truth is: it’s constantly evolving.
Here at Renco Nets we’ve seen things develop in so many different ways.
Remember, we started out over 30 years ago supplying local fishing firms with their netting…
But since then, in 30 years – we’ve seen it all.
Sure, we still supply a few fishing firms with netting, rope and twine. But interestingly, these days the vast majority of our work is in supplying netting and rope for children’s soft play areas.
It’s a huge, growing industry.
And we’ve been lucky enough to establish ourselves as one of the market leaders in the area.
But, even so, we find things are constantly developing.
Where we started out providing quite basic netting and rope obstacles, we now find our clients seeking ever more complex options.
In fact, our clients are changing the very shape of the nets.
Adventurous Ideas
You see, as the popularity of children’s soft play increases, so do the demands of the children who use these areas.
They want variety, and more exciting challenges.
It means our clients must think outside the box when it comes to designing play areas…
And in turn, we must be equally innovative in our production of netting and rope.
Sure, there is still a demand for traditional net shapes, but more and more we’re asked to create strange, irregular shapes too.
We find clients in need of netting that can be fitted between trees and other more inventive locations for play areas.
And as you can imagine, it throws up some exciting challenges.
Of course, we’re always happy to help our clients in any way we can.
The good thing is: because the vast majority of our nets are woven by hand, we can quickly adapt and develop bespoke designs based on your specific requirements.
So, if you’ve got a particular idea in mind or you’re looking to turn an un-typical space into an area to keep children entertained and occupied, we’re happy to talk about the different options we can provide.
Remember, you an always contact us directly by giving us a call on +44 (0) 1469 575 804 anytime between 8am and 4pm.
Whatever happens, we can’t wait to see how the netting industry keeps changing.
