Replacing Your Nets: What to Do If Your Netting Is Damaged by the Autumn and Winter Weather

You’ve already felt it, right?

The weather is changing.

We both know it’s time to admit the sunny days will be few and far between for the next few months.

In fact, it seems we’re heading for a particularly wet autumn and winter.

On the upside, it does mean more cosy nights in and gives you a great excuse to treat yourself to a nice new winter coat to wrap up warm when you do need to venture outside.

But for your poor old nets…

It means tough times are on the horizon.

And by far the biggest worry for netting is damp.

If your nets are being exposed to the elements and taking on a lot of moisture while being used, this might damage them and mean they need fixing or replacing completely.

At this time of year, it’s important to keep an eye on your netting to make sure it’s not broken or fraying.

If you do spot any minor breaks, or obviously weakened areas, it might be possible that a section of the net can be fixed rather than replacing the whole thing.

Alternatively, if the net is too badly damaged, we can of course replace it for you.

Either way, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us here at Renco Nets.

Whatever your netting need might be – sports netting, agricultural netting or something completely different like netting for children’s soft play – we can provide it for you.

Of course, there are ways you can help to protect your nets during bad weather…

And you can find out how to keep your netting in good condition in a piece we wrote on this very subject. You can link that by clicking here.

But it is inevitable that sometimes the weather will catch up with your netting and it will come to a point where you need to replace it.

So, if you want to restock and refresh your nets…

Just get in touch.

As always, you can email us at netting@renco.co.uk or call us direct on 01469 575804 and we’ll be happy to help.
